The Lions of District 2-A2 have been serving Southwest Texas since 1917 when the first Texas Lions Club, San Antonio Founders Lions Club was chartered. The Lions of District 2-A2 proudly serve 21 Texas counties: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Dimmit, Edwards, Frio, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kinney, LaSalle, Live Oak, Maverick, Medina, McMullen, Real, Uvalde, Val Verde, Webb, Wilson, and Zavalla.
