Effective March 1, 2012 District 2-A2 Lions Clubs can now refer adults from their community a hearing evaluation to:

To schedule an appointment for someone seeking assistance your Lions Club representative will need to call the number listed above and inform the receptionist (Adelia) that they are referring someone for a hearing evaluation through your Lions Club.
This service is known as the HEAR NOW Program. The Directors of the District 2-A2 Hearing Board have agreed to enter into this new partnership between the Lions of District 2-A2 and the Starkey Hearing Foundation. Most people in need of Hearing Aids need 2 aids and under our former service plan, we could only afford to provide one. This new partnership will allow us to greatly expand our hearing assistance service because we will be able to provide 2 aids for each individual, if needed, for the same price we used to pay for one.
The District 2-A2 Hearing Board will still be the responsible party for payment for the adult referred by any Lions Club in our District. The criteria that the adult resides within one of the 21 counties of District 2-A2 and that their income be within l80% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, as listed each year in the Federal Registry, remain the same as before.
