Congratulations to La Vernia Junior High student Bria Peters. Her poster was selected as the winner in the statewide MD2 Texas Lions Peace Poster Contest beating out the winners from the other 15 Texas districts. Her winning entry now moves to the Lions International Peace Poster Contest where one international grand prize winner and 23 merit award winners will be selected.
